Through the years, Mealer Homes has built numerous custom homes in Alvin, Friendswood, Pearland, Manvel, Rosharon, Angleton, Sante Fe, Texas City, and points in between.

Preston, a Vietnam veteran, credits faith in God and a strong work ethic as reasons for success. "We work as if it is up to us and pray as if it is up to God," he said. Mealer Homes has a legacy of service and quality that began when Preston formed Circle M Construction in 1986 and built 12 homes on Goode Street in Alvin with the help of local banker Tom Blakeney. Though still working shift work at a local chemical company, the small business gathered steam and began to roll.
Mealer Homes was born in 1997. Sons Brandon and Matt graduated from Alvin High School, and both sons - and their wives - have helped at Mealer Homes on occasion. "We have seen the housing market at its highs and lows," Preston said. "Like other builders, we have experienced some very slow periods. But thankfully, we work in a growing, vibrant area. We have managed to stay busy building quality custom homes since we took those first steps in 1986. I can't see myself doing anything other than building homes for families in this area."
In addition to custom homes, the company also excels in home remodeling and renovations, and small commercial construction projects, including metal buildings.
